I thought that was just ads though? I use adblocker so hopefully that takes care of that.

the reason they word it that way is to entice you to click it. what happens next is it makes a post on your timeline that "soandso watched a link - ******" (because we need to make sure we inform our facebook friends of our video watching habits)

i, too, hate that fb has been auto-playing videos my friends post. So many people posting videos these days. The idea is not that bad...if people wouldn't post videos of every little thing that happens in their life every single day Also, getting pretty tired of the "you won't believe what so-and-so did" / "this person had X happen to them - you won't believe what happened next!" / "this little boy's story is guaranteed to make you cry" / "you won't believe what the government is hiding from you" etc. etc. videos everyone posts these days. Once again, a small % are worth watching and the rest are chain-email-worthy or just seem/are made up.
