So now I have this awesome Focusrite 2i2 interface that got rid of a lot of noise issues. I notice that when I'm in garageband, only the left track has all the information I need. I could use some help in learning how to edit this so that I could get the left track to play out of both speakers.

I record myself in both video and audio playing the guitar using quicktime. I'm away from family and send them video of me playing a song that I'm working on from time to time.

I import the video to garageband.

When I look at the audio, only the left side has the information, while the right side has some but not enough for me to really use it.

How do I edit the audio so that I can have the left track played on both the right and left speaker?

I've been researching all afternoon, but steps are for the older garageband... that I deleted when I upgraded.

Ok so I think I sorted it out... They changed the language from previous versions such as "mono 1" or "mono 2".

Instead they have have "input 1" and "input 2" and you can copy and paste the original file into each track... one track representing the left speaker (input 1), and the other representing the right speaker (input 2).

Then render for a fuller sound without the stereo effect (that's if it's not necessary).
