I think I'll get a tree this year. I'm feeling less of a Grinch this winter than I have felt in years. I think it's because I'm not working in sales or in a restaurant this year. However, I will be at the hospital on Christmas Day, but I don't really mind.

Your tree is beautiful dj and very big.

3^ we usually get a 4 ft tree. I think last year it might have been 5.5' bc we found one suuuuper cheap. Hoping to find the same this year.

This will be the third year that I've ordered our Christmas tree online. I get a little 3.5 foot tree from Omni Farms in West Jefferson, NC. It already has the stand attached so you just open the box, pull it out, and start decorating.

Here's the stock photo, I'll post a pic once it arrives next week.

I'll be out of town from Dec 1-4 and then from Dec 19-28

is there any point in buying a tree when I'll only be able to enjoy it for about 15 days?

^We put ours on our screened in front porch cause of our three mischievous kitties. Just got it decorated after spending all afternoon ornament shopping. Roses had some good stuff for cheap that was better than the dollar stores and wal-mart. Lowe's must be where the rich man goes for decorations, their shit was way too expensive. And if you really have $texas to spend, Morgan's imports across from Brightleaf square had some gorgeous stuff and an enormous selection. Got my NC State ornament there for $4 bucks!

I bought all my Christmas decorations as Lowe's the year before last because I had some unspent gift cards that I got from work.

My GF's Uncle has a Christmas tree farm, so we typically get our tree when we go up there for Thanksgiving and decorate it when we get home. We had to do our Thanksgiving dinner early this year due to my work schedule, so we just went ahead and got the tree. But yeah, fuck America.

Thanksgiving was late this year, so you guys can fuck off with this tree before T'giving crap

Anyway, picked up my tree at the NC Farmer's Market on Sunday. Fresh cut 8' Frasier Fur for $49. A fair bit more expensive than getting a tree at Lowe's/Home Depot but I like that it's going straight to NC tree growers.

Not finished decorating it though

looks a little top-heavy lights wise, but it'll settle out.

We decided to dig the old artificial tree out of storage, where it's been smashed up for years. Traveling a lot for the holidays, so this was easier. Nothing to brag about, but I'm just glad it isn't completely bent out of shape and the lights still work after all these years.

Everyone's trees are beautiful! We have too much going on this year and ended up just hanging our stockings and putting up the Charlie Brown tree. I have some red tinsel I got for our kitty's photo for the Christmas card that I might swag on the white picket fence, though. I miss the lights.

After 3 years of there being no christmas decorations at work, I broke down and put up some lights.
