I just think we are getting too much hype right now.

Imo this team has limited upside. Id say a #10 seed and ~10-8 is our ceiling.

Our downside is like 5-13 in conference play though if these freshman arent any better than advertised and lee isnt a stud.

I guess there are scenarios where catfish just dominates and plays kings of leon all over everyone's nutsac, or Warren Teej becomes a roadhouse blues muff slayer but Ive seen enough state basketball to know ive seen too much.

It just aint meant to be. We aint bout this life.

We're 72 in Kenpom, which seems about right until we play a single game that counts towards our record. Once we do, I'll either call it way too low, a little low, exactly right, a little high or way too high.

I won't watch the game, I'll just check the updated kenpom.com ranking and go from there

the only place this team has hype is TWW and PP. every sports outlet is predicting this team to be a cellar dweller in the expanded ACC

I think we could be a tournament team

But a lot of that is I think if we finish 8th or 9th, we could be a tournament team, since this conference is gonna get its dick sucked by the selection committee like the Big Least was the last 6-7 years

^^ Cellar dweller? That means we finish last in the ACC. The ACC media and coaches picked us to finish 10th IIRC. Yeah not great, but not a cellar dweller. We should at least be better than VT

We could make money charging admission for these games if we made them Slamball games and not normal basketball games.

I hope they leave the 3 potentially ok post players in longer this game so I can see if we're really going to be that bad down there.

^^ with 15 teams you can probably consider the bottom 3 as the cellar, especially with how tough this conference is now. it's pretty reasonable to assume this team will lose all the games it's "supposed to" and maybe a few where they shit themselves and lose to opponents that they should beat. performing worse than expected (10th in the acc) definitely puts this team in what could be considered the cellar given the little room for error they have.

^ VT and Miami are going to be pretty bad. Clemson, GT, and Wake won't be that much better (Wake could be a pressure cooker), BC and FSU should be better, but not great, and Pitt isn't as good as you'd expect. I could see us anywhere from 7th to 10th. The league will get 7-8 teams in, easy. This is an 8-9 bid league once Louisville comes in and boosts the SOS even more.

Watched it. Blow out win was nice.

The team looked a lot more in sync than vs Pembroke.

Was very impressed with Lewis, Warren, Lee, and Turner.

Cat Barber cleaned up his game a lot since last game.

Washington had a lot of great fast break outlet passes and played intelligently on D.

Anya still looked behind the curve.

Free throws were falling for everybody for the most part too.

So what's Anya's deal? Just not in shape? It's hard to believe he could be such a high ranking recruit and yet he's the least productive big on paper.

He gained a lot of weight. Seeing him at the last exhibition vs his High School highlights...looks like he ate Richard Howell.

Anya actually looked better than I expected tonight. He could stand to lose a pound or forty, though.

I didn't see the pembroke game, but we definitely handled these guys inside defensively and on the boards which was comforting aftert seeing the box score from Wednesday. After watching them play I am fairly hopeful for the season. I think 8-11 in the conference is fair

went for pep band because it beat staying in the band for the end of the football game

game was fun to watch. we looked a lot better. not sure if it was because we got better or because morehouse sucks more than UNCP

I was also disappointed Jevoni didn't get that dunk at the end.

Just looking at the box score

It's crazy that TJ had 26 pts and 10 rbs, exactly like last game

Nice ExHibition HigHLigHts: http://www.gopack.com/sports/m-baskbl/recaps/110213aaa.html
