10/30/2013 8:39:29 PM
17 years, you noticed my absence, I knew I was missed.
10/30/2013 8:40:05 PM
oh no now the nsa will know I'm snitching. NSA Hacks computers with a .net 2.0 app.
10/30/2013 8:41:25 PM
What do you hate about your job?
10/30/2013 8:42:01 PM
Mainly the lies that were told in the recruiting process. And I'm getting dumber, I've written 0 lines of code in 5 months.
10/30/2013 8:43:51 PM
Powerbuilder? You poor son of a bitch. For those of you who don't know what PowerBuilder is, let me explain: PowerBuilder is a programming platform for people who find VB too hard.
10/30/2013 8:54:29 PM
powerbuilder?christ
10/30/2013 8:58:26 PM
Yes, POWERBUILDER 9 AND 12 I didn't know powerbuilder existed.
10/30/2013 9:00:45 PM
Come work with me at Epic at we can program in MUMPS
10/30/2013 9:01:53 PM
Are you going to put that on your resume?
10/30/2013 9:02:54 PM
nope, I'm building some .net c# experience in my down time.
10/30/2013 9:05:07 PM
I only ask, because I put crazycode ™ on mine
10/30/2013 9:09:16 PM
Are you making good money?
10/30/2013 9:11:02 PM
Seriously though, rarely is your first job a perfect fit. If the pay is decent, and enabling you to save some... Maybe it's not a terrible idea to stay long enough to get "experience" and resume fodder. Make a few connections. Keep looking and learning on your own time, and after a year or two, bounce.
10/30/2013 9:22:01 PM
Decent money, and nice bonus coming in april.
10/30/2013 9:24:24 PM
Turned in my 2 weeks today

Tomorrow is my exit interview, seeing as I was lied to during recruiting for this job should I go balls to the walls and roast everyone in the interview. There's nothing on earth that will make me come back to this company, I'd rather live in a box under a bridge.
2/6/2014 7:58:56 AM
a box under a bridge is pretty bad, the worst I would do is liveIN A VAN,DOWN BY THE RIVER
2/6/2014 8:03:49 AM
Is the interview with HR, or a manager?
2/6/2014 8:04:47 AM
HR, then all the directors and even the CIO get together and go over the results of the interview.
2/6/2014 8:10:27 AM
not worth blasting off if they are not in the room-
2/6/2014 8:21:53 AM
Dude you worked there what 8 months or something? I know you feel all powerful and I hate to burst your bubble but you are going to be looked at as an imperfessional punk and dismissed without a second thought.
2/6/2014 8:25:13 AM
if the job sucks and you can get another one, go for it
2/6/2014 8:34:18 AM
Already have another, a big raise etc. ^^Theres always atleast one person on tww thats out to attempt to burst someones bubble. I was promised .net, web development, I got powerbuilder, and assigned to report to a contractor. Thats unprofessional.

when i was in IT, my average was 18 months...i got too bored too quicklyi don't miss it
2/6/2014 8:43:08 AM
one place I worked the "IT" guy's job was to install new computers and make sure they could get on the network, print, occasionally fix crashes, etc.all he ever did when there wasn't new stuff to put in was play games and unlock computers when people left them "locked" and not "logged out"
2/6/2014 9:25:52 AM
Was he this guy?
2/6/2014 9:32:26 AM
It's not too soon when you are normal legit or less legit; just not when you are too legit to quit
2/6/2014 9:43:44 AM

2/6/2014 9:45:02 AM
