Does anyone know what the average payout is to the away team that travels to NC State for a football game? I was arguing with someone trying to tell them that a lot of schools charge almost a million dollars to travel to a bigger school. The person who I was arguing with guessed that the traveling team probably gets $50,000 for coming to schools like NC State. I found an old article that said West Virginia paid Liberty $365,000 and MAC schools charge $750,000. I'm guessing it is at least $100,000+

Don't argue with people that don't have a clue.

I-AA team get less than I-A teams. Payouts are generally only for not getting a return home game, and all non conference games are essentially contracted. Google show high six figures is typical but obviously varies...
