I use Grooveshark via Chrome to listen to music everyday. Clearly it's not the same as listening to MP3s using Media Player/Winamp. It'd be nice to have a graphic equalizer built into my browser so I can play around with it to improve my listening experience. Does anyone here have any solutions?

why an equalizer for your browser, why not one of the options for your OS?

That is because I'm using a Creative X-Fi DAC. It plugs in my USB and I plug my speakers into it.

i'm still not clear why you need an equalizer at the web browser level

^ GS has a great collection of music, and some of their broadcasts are great. The X-Fi does a decent job of enhancing the sound, way better than my onboard laptop sound card. Also, what else would you use for listening to music besides speakers? headphones? ^^ I need it at a browser level since I cannot play with any OS level EQ settings once I connect my DAC.

your DAC doesn't have any tuning or equalizing software that comes with it?

Nope, in fact I'm looking to buy one that comes with EQ software.

http://www.highcriteria.comThat plus their graphical equalizer add-on might do what you want. There's an app for Mac OS called Audio Hijack that definitely does what you want, and I found this app by looking for windows apps similar to that.also, does this not apply: http://support.creative.com/kb/ShowArticle.aspx?sid=47194[Edited on September 20, 2013 at 8:23 PM.
