My pull up bar worked fine in my old apartment. In the new one it is a little too narrow for the door. Does anybody know where I can get some extensions for it? or a easy way to extend it?

I was considering removing the end caps from the pipes and inserting a small pipe into it.

Its the iron gym version that looks like this. The part that goes infront of the door frame touches the door frame but isn't long enough to anchor in place.

Yes I've tried every door. This weird condo has huge doors. All seem to be a few inches out of spec.
