Maybe this thread will contain all of the related questions.

So here is my question.

I have a solar panel that has a red wire and black wire with alligator clips attached. I need to know if it is possible and how to merge those wires into a single plug, 6 volt type plug.

Is this possible?

It's all a matter of splicing the wires from dat 6volt plug, you have a 50-50 chance of getting the right orientation.

wire with white tracer and red alligator clip gets attached to the tip terminal, and black wire with black alligator clip goes to the ring. Check out the voltage rating for the panel, if it is higher than 6 volt you may require a simple voltage regulating circuit
