I know there used to be some people on here that did house cleaning. I would like to set up someone to clean every other week doing the basic house cleaning. We would set up a clear schedule of responsibilities for each visit. Occasional additional cleaning tasks would be available for additional pay. We can provide cleaning supplies but would adjust payment if you prefer to bring your own.

The house is 2400 sq feet and it is in NE Raleigh (inside 540).

I would prefer someone who has professionally cleaned houses before and can give references but that is not a requirement.

Rate per visit would be negotiated on scope of services and experience. Please PM for additional information.

Nobody? I have a couple people coming out to give estimates next week. The few phone estimates I have gotten are higher than I thought they would be, but they were traveling further as well.

So, if no one is interested in doing it themselves, anybody have someone they recommend?

Thanks for the link. I also had a request by PM for more information and I will post it here too in case someone is thinking about it.

Each visit we would like the basics covered
- Vacuum all accessible living space (no moving couches or anything)
- Clean the 2 1/2 bath rooms (use scrub brush on tile and toilets, wipe down counters clean shower glass)
- Clean the kitchen (wipe down counters and scrub sink)
- Dust and wipe down tables in the remaining rooms.

We would also like to have some tasks done less frequently that would be rotated between like 1st visit clean downstairs blinds, next clean upstairs blinds, scrub downstairs baseboards, and then upstairs baseboards.

My wife and I are reasonable and if the task is too much for a given week we could beak it up into several visits. Once or twice a year we might do spring cleaning type events that could result in a longer cleaning period which we would pay more for.

We are anticipating the typical visits to be 2 1/2 to 3 hours but that can be adjusted if I am totally off base for what this take. My initial thought was $15-$18 an hour if we provide the cleaning products and I would do more if you prefer to bring your own.
