Ok, folks...I'm assuming cooking responsibilities for the next three nights, and I'm kind of in the mood to try a couple of new things. Keep in mind a couple of things:I ain't cooking with ketchup. I rarely never make any sauces from a packet. I only use fresh vegetables. Frozen if fresh ain't available. I'm not afraid to get a little wild with spices and such. Other than that, we will eat damn near anything. Gimme your ideas!

Well sometimes Kraft Mac and cheese is an option. But that's our late night drunk/comfort food.

here are my favorite side dishes: roasted brussel sprouts - cut brussel sprouts in half and toss with oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper; bake at 400F for ~20 minutes. this is also good topped with parmesan cheese. sweet potato fries - cut sweet potatoes into desired french fry shape (disc, stick, waffle, etc) and toss with oil, salt, pepper, and a spice (I like fresh rosemary, but cayenne pepper or paprika work well too) and bake at 425F for ~30 minutes (flip over after 10-15 minutes).

Linda...I do have sweet potatoes. I was thinking about just baking whole. Damn, they're good any way you cook them. And my gf roasted brussels sprouts last week. So good.Jeepxj420...chops are one of my go-to's, and I usually make a great gravy to go with them. With lots of onion and garlic, and often mushrooms. And rice.Nic...GF blows me away when it comes to cooking anything with azn influence. But that does sound really good.
