From about 14 months ago. Called the bank ad they said they don't take any over 6 months old. Called my old employer and he said he would talk to the lady who does payroll. He said to call him tomorrow and he will have an answer for me. The guy I used to work for is a total scumbag and I'm sure I'm going to get some BS from him. Just wondering if anyone out there has any experience dealing with something like this, and can provide some insight. Thanks.

Not paying you for your work is a federal crime. Threaten to lawyer up if they don't redraft the check.

I mean I figured that would be my most extreme course of action. But would it really be worth it for a $200 check?

Most checks have an expiration date if they aren't deposited. http://smallbusiness.chron.com/payroll-checks-expire-13791.html

Just drop it in an ATM and see what happens. They probably won't even check.
