Good hip hop has to have elements of struggle and perserverance, along with really good beats. I usually don't like white people hip hop because the beats suck. But for a white guy, LD's beats are actually really good. I especially like his tributes to southern rapers in Too high and The Cypher. But a lot of his lyrics are the same old Jewish self depricating humor that we all have heard a thousands times before.
