A startup Biotech firm on Centennial campus is looking to hire some part time summer interns. Work will be focused on developing and optimizing methods to produce cancer-fighting materials. There will be mostly maintenance/upkeep of plants grown in our greenhouse as well as some laboratory work. Also will be assisting us in our move to a new larger laboratory space. Hours will vary. Science background and undergraduate laboratory experience preferred. Training and BSL-1 safety certification will be provided. -Startup-InternMinimum wage is reasonable, although $10/hour might be better.

i guess it's still an employer's market...back in undergrad, i never would have considered a job that paid minimum wageheck, i worked in a computer lab on campus for something like $8/hour 10 years ago...i got paid to do my homework and occasionally add paper to the lab printer

Bump.We are still looking to fill 2 positions. 1 Full Time Greenhouse Manager/Lab Tech1 Part Time Greenhouse Assistant (1-2 people)Most of the work will be in the greenhouse caring for, treatment, and disposing of our plants. When not in the greenhouse, the FT position will assist researchers in the laboratory. PT position will be only greenhouse work.
