So I work off of Glenwood, out past Millbrook/Duraleigh. One thing I've noticed is that there are few really good places to get a drink and chill on the patio. I'd love a good restaurant/bar that I could frequent after work in this area NOT of the sports bar persuasion. Something a little more unique. And...GO!

Other than Lynnwood I cant think of anywhere with a patio that is not a chain.

Lynnwood is not particularly unique, actually its very generic.

Some chains are okay, but Lynnwood is super generic and definitely not my idea of a very good time.

Saints and Scholars Irish Pub over near the intersection of Falls of Neuse and Spring Forest? (behind Jason's Deli) maybe not as close as you want.

Yeah, not as close as I'd like. I think this section of town just isn't so hot for such things. Oh well. Keep em coming if you know of anything!

I do like flying burrito and eat there every now and then. But I only consider it a go-to for good tequila and margaritas. And El Rodeo at Townridge has better margaritas.

Flying Burrito has a great selection of tacos and burritos though. And their queso is very good.

^^ I'm going to assume that you work there, because that patio isn't close to being the best drinking patio in Raleigh

Trali up in Brier Creek isn't so bad.

Lonerider Hideaway (tasting room) is kind of cool, but the hours are pretty limited.

Leesville Taproom i believe has a patio (maybe), but I'll generally pick Lynnwood over Leesville.

Hibernian off Falls is open now and has a good patio

Sawmill Taproom has a decent deck

Dos Taquitos has the best margaritas I've ever had

Pickled Onion has a patio...it's good for people watching

I like hanging out at Lonerider on occasion

^^^ Yep. They're got a great rooftop. Kind of a sports talk vibe, but not overly, especially on the roof.

Good call. That might be the best option for what the OP is looking for, location wise. Though I'm sure he's been there and doesn't like it for some silly reason
