Looks alright.

looks stupid. Same old same old take away immortality so that you can fall in love bullshit.
3/27/2013 11:48:28 PM
Looks like a comic movie. Im in
3/28/2013 12:10:27 AM
whats up with remakes/sequels to movies that just add a 'The' in front of the original title
3/28/2013 12:48:44 AM
if at first you don't succeed
3/28/2013 7:59:43 AM
I had raised my hopes for this one ever so slightly (it would take a feat of monumentous proportions to somehow actually be worse than x-men origins wolverine), but the trailer just looks like the same old crap to me. The stunt at the end of the trailer with him flying forward on the train looks absolutely terrible in my opinion, and they featured it as the climax of the trailer. But having said that, it's a comic movie, and I will see it.
3/28/2013 8:02:25 AM
So is this supposed to be a direct sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine? Or a complete reboot of Wolverine?Agreed on the part with him flying on the train, that looked pretty bad. Also, was that Silver Samurai I saw him fighting with at one point?
3/28/2013 9:00:40 AM
^yes that's Silver Samauri. I dont think this is a direct sequel, I believe the events in this take place after xmen last stand
3/28/2013 9:20:00 AM
I shall watch
3/28/2013 10:37:20 AM
so what is the plot?Old man needs wolverines DNA to survive, sucks it from the wolverine and becomes silver samurai?
3/28/2013 9:36:12 PM
OK, so based off of the trailer, I think that the story lines up with Yukio pretty well.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yukio_(comics)I am fine with this.[Edited on March 29, 2013 at 3:25 AM. Reason : s]

To me, the scene on the train looks awful. And maybe I'm not remembering clearly, but I don't have any recollection of Logan wanting to give up his powers in the same way that Rogue did/does. He's got his own kind of angst, but not against his abilities...
3/29/2013 11:56:24 AM
^ That's why I think that he was poisoned, and his powers temporarily leave him.
3/29/2013 1:03:35 PM
not gonna lie and correct me if I'm wrong. but I know Wolverine is a popular character but I dont see that the general population given a shit about the Wolverine character. I watch the trailer and was like "what am I looking at?" It feels like Daredevil. It feels like Electra(sp?) I feel they are just booking off Hugh Jackman. ( who I believe plays a good Clint Eastwood Wolverine. )
3/29/2013 3:27:50 PM
All I can say is that Hugh Jackman:Wolverine like Sean Connery:James bond. Not exactly what it was meant to be, but exactly what the fans want.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=th1NTVIhUQUGetting real tired of the cliche "slice something with a sword and it remains perfectly functional for 30 seconds before falling apart" thing. I understand that physics doesn't quite work the same in a comic book universe but I feel like I'm not alone here. Hopefully this Wolverine movie won't be full of other typical stuff like that like the last one was.[Edited on May 21, 2013 at 10:47 AM. Reason : ]
5/21/2013 10:45:58 AM
^i don't mind the slicing thing so much with the stool leg, but the bottom of the beer is fucking retarded
5/21/2013 4:28:57 PM
there's nowhere to go but up from the last one
5/21/2013 4:29:47 PM
Huh. That's a better trailer than any of the others I've seen.
5/21/2013 5:10:42 PM
This looks really bad.
6/29/2013 11:44:22 AM
I enjoyed this more than the first wolverine movie. I still think X1 & 2 are the best in the x-men movie series so far and I generally like the group dynamic more than wolverine focused storylines, but the mid-credits scene made the movie better and helps connect it to the other movies while setting up future storylines. I'm glad this was set after x3 rather than being yet another prequel.
7/27/2013 9:06:08 PM
I liked it, especially since it was mostly set in Japan
7/27/2013 9:17:50 PM
If it's in China, it should be even cooler.
7/27/2013 9:33:35 PM
I liked it. Thought it was better than the other wolverine movie. The mid-credit scene was very awesome.Still don't get why people leave before the credits of a marvel movie. idiots.
7/29/2013 1:15:54 AM
way better than the other wolverine movie.
7/29/2013 3:45:58 PM
all one of them?
7/29/2013 5:30:13 PM
he said "movie," singular. not sure of the problem?
7/29/2013 6:08:57 PM
whut?ninja edit
7/29/2013 6:21:46 PM
those damn ninjas
7/29/2013 6:45:22 PM
Ninjas are cool. They know Kungfu.
7/29/2013 7:05:21 PM
It was fine, I dont give a shit about canon, and I went to see Wolverine fuck shit up.Was not disappointed.
7/29/2013 10:57:53 PM
The train scene ended up being the best part. Oh skepticism.
7/30/2013 9:23:42 AM
Big fan of anything X men related. Went and saw this and was very pleased. Just a side story of an awesome character. Nothing more nothing less. Was actually nice to see a super hero movie where the world wasn't in danger at any point if he failed. Just good old fashion fighting to save a chick you may or may not love. I give it a solid B (probably an actual C but like I said I'm an inherent xmen fanboy)
7/31/2013 12:03:34 AM
saw this b/c i was invited.pretty bad. these things feel like they're converging into the same movie.
7/31/2013 2:16:38 AM
Which same movie?
7/31/2013 8:16:02 AM
7/31/2013 11:08:10 AM
This was a much much better made movie than the last wolverine debacle, but that being said I'd only give it a C+, there were a couple cool things, but for the most part I just didn't give a fuck about anything happening
8/1/2013 8:03:45 AM
So the 1st one is an F?
8/1/2013 9:20:28 AM
I'm pretty sure that the idea of the claws of wolf is from this guy of street fighter:
8/1/2013 11:29:30 PM
^ you make me so sad...
8/2/2013 11:57:04 AM
meh
8/2/2013 10:54:13 PM
Favorite part was after the credits
8/3/2013 3:56:26 PM
It was ok.
8/4/2013 9:28:57 AM
8/4/2013 11:57:30 AM
Just got around to seeing this. So maybe I missed it but how was Wolverine able to remember stuff that happened in WW2 when his memory was wiped? Even if the first Wolverine movie is ignored, the first X-Men movies made it quite clear that he has no memory of his life prior to getting the adamantium skeleton.
8/12/2013 9:49:56 AM
All in all. It's a comic book movie, I found it entertaining. Everyone has posted parts that weren't in line with the story line, or that weren't great.. I'll agree. But it was good for my $7.
8/12/2013 7:18:41 PM
Wasn't bad, but i was extremely underwhelmed/disappointed, especially with the third act. The after credit scene got me amped though
8/12/2013 8:42:10 PM
It was decent. That blonde chick was pretty bad. Some decent action though. When the lady said "Come visit me sometime." I thought "lol nope, he won't".
8/18/2013 7:18:02 PM
decent. I like the storyline. felt like a monthly comic book story. better than the last mess. jean grey scenes was trippin me out. I know she represented death but I felt like Cyclops was rolling in his grave. lol.the train scene was the best part and random. I grinned like a bitch at silver samurai. interesting way to do it. I like anything with ninjasthey so missed an opportunity..red head girl said she saw (physic) Logan dead in the middle of the room with lots and blood and holding his heart. I thought after his woke up from his coma and was fighting ol buddy with the sword that the aftermath would be Logan in the middle of room with lots of blood and ol buddy's heart in his hand. bringing it full circle ....but NOPE. They just dropped it and never went back to it. wtf?Viper was a terrible villain.and bones claws. bad idea on paper and film. [Edited on November 10, 2013 at 1:29 AM. Reason : dd]

So we never got an answer to Wraith's question, which seems to be a huge plot hole for this movie. How can he remember anything prior to the 3 mile island event?
