I was recently turned on to this and can't seem to get enough. It's basically turn-based online Risk, but using 225 different maps with all kinds of crazy designs and rules.

They of course have the classic map, but I just played one that was "conquer man" that was a pac man layout. I'm playing another one right now on a chinese checkers board. They also have a "fog of war" so you can't see regions you aren't touching, nuclear spoils that will nuke regions down to 1 troop instead of giving you bonus troops...all kinds of stuff.

It is a little overwhelming at first, but once you get used to it I think it's great.

There is a free membership that allows you to have 4 on-going games at once, and then a $25/year premium version that gives unlimited games, speed matches (most are 24 hour turns, but you can have live games with the turn limit being only minutes) and a few other benefits.

Looks pretty cool. I've never played Risk, but I've heard great things about it an Risk Legacy.
