So I got this Troy bilt riding mower today and I knew it needed a motor. After looking around at northern tool and online These damn things have sky rocketed in price over the last few years. I need an 18hp Briggs or of the like. I see that you can switch motors as long as the crank is the same size. I looked on cl but came up with no luck. Any recommendations on where to get a decent used one. Thanks

ebayive randomly come across a lot of stuff for our pecan farm on their lately which utilizes a lot of small engines from many different manufacturers.if that doesnt work, sometimes dealers know of a guy that knows a guy that knows a guy and has a yard full of old stuff.

you know how to build an engine right ragged? rebuild kits are cheap as balls usually. I've done my blower, and my 6.0hp briggs push mower.easy peasy

if you can't find an used engine look for a used riding mower that has an issue but with a good engine.http://raleigh.craigslist.org/grd/3658478601.htmlhttp://raleigh.craigslist.org/grd/3656897104.htmlhttp://raleigh.craigslist.org/grd/3695153800.html
