This game has NC State shit written all over it. This is VT's last game of the season if they lose and so they will be playing hard. State on the other hand will probably come out flat and all disappointed from having to play on Thursday. Hopefully CJL shows up, if not, hello 11 seed and three game losing streak to end the season.

Fuck you DeShawn Painter for destroying our interior depth and giving Gott no option but to let CJL continue to do the same bullshit all season without any consequences.

lose to vt and our rpi drops to 45. we'd be an 11/12

win and i'd expect to be in the 8/9 game. the shitty thing is the committee puts most of the bracket together early and focuses on the bubble so i'm not sure beating uva would do much. really have to either win the whole thing or blow the doors off miami to get their attention and move us up.

It's more about the intangibles. Does he look invested in the game? Is he putting forth Calvin effort? Is he sharing the ball? How frustrated does he get by an early foul?

It's easy to see if Calvin or CJ came to play fairly early on.

lol. you said that if CJL was off in the first few minutes then he should be benched. all i did was provide an example of him starting off poorly and finishing with a great game (arguably, his best game of the season came in a game where he got off to a rough start). CJL is frustrating...i think every State fan would agree with that. his good games this season have certainly outnumbered his bad games.

^^lol. I don't consider it some great feat to say that CJ's good games have outnumbered his bad games. For a freshman, sure, that would be nice. But for a Junior that is expected to be an all-american...just having his good games outnumber his bad games is laughable. Even in some of his "good games" he turned it over 5+ times. For a PF to turn it over that many damn times is ridiculous. Go ahead and tell me how many close games he has come up big for us down the stretch, and how many close games has he taken a shit all over the court down the stretch and see which one outnumbers the other.

turnovers have obviously been a huge problem for CJL in some games this year, but players who have the ball a lot turn it over a lot

It's not like Wake and GT are the only good games CJL has had. CJL has had, what...6 bad games this year? He is one of the most frustrating players I can remember (pretty sure most State fans would agree with that). The preseason hype for him, and the entire team, was clearly wrong. The media and fans saw CJL at his absolute best in the final 10 games last year and thought he was capable of doing that all season. We were wrong.

And as for the VT game:
