An avid video game player is needed for simple spreadsheet data entry. We are developing a mobile app and need someone to do some internet/youtube searching and complete data entry into a spreadsheet. Very easy job and pay is performance based (ie: data entries per hour ~12-15$/hour)

All that is required is a computer with decent internet connection and spreadsheet experience (ie. Excel).

Sorry about the cross post, I thought it might be more applicable in the Tech talk.

The Youtube searching is all video game related. I need the person to be able to apply some discretion when searching and selecting data/links (which would come from video game experience).

so this is for a non-shady flat hourly rate

and not something that you see advertised on telephone poles or website comment sections making money for data entry. you hire people and pay them an up-front hourly rate then, right?

It's not an upfront hourly rate because I have no way of monitoring your work time (After we meet up and give details you would work from home). The entirety of the job is me giving you details of search criteria etc, searching youtube, copying the links into a spreadsheet. The best way to pay that is by $/links.

Since I've been doing the entirety of the data entry up until this point I know how much to pay to average ~12-15$/hour. It's possible that you can make more per hour if you're more efficient than i am on my laptop.

I'm not sure how else to come off as not-shady. It's a start up effort and we're looking for some help.
