I mean, I know the answer to that is yes, but can you tell me your story, your experience, how you got back on your feet and ended up not feeling like crap for falling behind and how it was actually the right thing to do in the end?Oh balls, wrong section. Sorry kids.[Edited on February 21, 2013 at 6:38 PM. Reason : Oh balls, wrong section. Sorry kids.]

I had to take a medical withdrawal for major surgery, its annoying that it still shows on my transcript. I don't know if any future employers will ever look at my transcript, but I'm concerned they will ask about it. It was a little tough getting motivated for those classes because I had already been through a good part of the semester, but after that first bit back it was pretty normal. There is no "behind", just get back and finish. In 20 years its not going to matter if you finished college straight through or if you took an extra semester or two. Just keep going and then it will feel normal again.

I'm doing an Incomplete course right now. Basically just work with your professor and make him happy.
