Hey y'all - I have a friend with a '99 Jeep Cherokee (4.0L, I believe). Anyway, when she uses the cruise control and hten turns it off, the car 'kicks' and the engine light comes on. She just had it into a shop and the engine codes were thermostat, clockspring, and exhaust-related (O2 sensor is my guess without having seen the diagnostics). She went ahead and had them replace the thermostat and clockspring, and the problem is continuing. Any thoughts on what might be causing it?
