RTFM?Doesn't the company offer free tech support?
2/3/2013 3:04:04 PM
I don't want to deal with them, companies like that never help. I am good w/ computers, I just can't figure this out and I don't have time to deal w/ the company.

Doesn't RDP support attaching USB devices?
2/3/2013 4:25:36 PM
Haha, so this is where we got this crap from. I'm fairly positive we license this technology to use in one of the products we sell. If it's the software I think it is then you just need to:* configure USB Filter to whitelist your USB device * open the appropriate port (TCP 32023) on the server (your computer in this case)* tell the client app where the server is availableI've no idea if you could actually connect to a phone this way, but if you say other people are doing it then I guess it's worth a try. The client config is all automated in our solution, but the online manual seems to show this all as fairly straightforward. Also, I'm guessing you want to do this over the Internet, so the server is going to need to be accessible directly or you're going to have to figure out port forwarding via NAT or whatever.

Yes I am. I have above average computer skill. If you knew how to get it working you would accept my $50 and show me.

Not trying to rag on you, but hearing the statement "I am good w/ computers" makes me think of those terrible commercials for things like MyComputerCareer.com. "Start YOUR career in computers today!"You probably could have worded that better .

My guess would be that most people on here are students and most students would love to make $50 in 10 minutes. I certainly did when I was a student.
2/5/2013 8:49:30 PM
IRL most people on here are former students; anyway have you considered using the shady software's own forums, considering that I don't think there is TFM to R: http://www.incentivespro.com/forum/

Most users on tdub were college users from 2000-2006, everyone new has been trolled the fuck away after 260 posts. lolz
2/6/2013 5:23:20 AM
LOL, $50 for 10 minutes of their time...more like 2-3 hours. You are using software that I'm sure most as in 99% have ever seen or heard of from someone that has a website from 1999...and using forums without even customizing it for their business. So I would have to read the manual and then explain it to you. Above computer knowledge...ask for help, not someone to do your bitch work. Why don't you quit wasting everyone's time and call the company or ask on the relatively active support forum there. Hell I jumped on the live chat, and they seemed friendly enough.

this seems like one of those craigslist ads where you say a followup called "RE: Please help me with this program I'll pay you $50." where somebody takes the time to post up an 'ad' calling out the person for implying that hours worth of technical assistance is only worth $50"Looking for someone to edit my video, should only take 3-4 hours if you know what you're doing, compensation = $50, but I need an experienced video editor"[Edited on February 6, 2013 at 11:11 PM.
