in the North Shore Townhomes. You would have your own bedroom and bathroom (not connected though). There is a garage, but it is mostly filled with junk, but could fit more. It is currently one male and one female. the $500 includes all cable/internet/utilities, and while we would like some time commitment, there is no lease to sign. the room itself is 9x12, and has one closet and a large window. It would also include the desk in there, if desired (if not, it can go into storage). PM me if interested, and I will set up a time to check it out or send pictures.it really is a great location, close to the beltline, immediate access to lake raleigh and it's trails, and the area is nice and safe!

Which unit are you in? I've lived here since January 2004 and have never seen you here...

Who knows, might still be open!

I was thinking of renting out my spare bedroom but I don't think I could do it for less than $800/mo

^ The difference is your room is bigger and your house is nicer. The other thing is you are just 1 other roommate, as opposed to 2-3 others. With that said, folks in college want rent on the cheap, so they'll likely go with Biofreak70's offer.

Is development still stopped on the community?
1/16/2013 12:22:46 AM
dunno actually- I've been told that they have some new developers and are planning on moving forward again... but I've heard that before
1/16/2013 6:47:06 AM
There is a new developer that has been selected, but he is not moving forward at this time. The current homeowners have to sign over authority of the board/HOA to the new developer before he can start. We have not done so yet as we are negotiating with the University to get certain improvements before doing so.

They have two other private developments starting on the campus now

^I know about the apartments going up called The Greens, and the adjacent student housing. What else is going up now?
1/16/2013 1:28:52 PM
That's it and only one is private. The Greens are being developed by Capital Associates, while the others are upper classroom dorm/apartments, similar to that of Wolf Village, from what I'm told. All in all, I think there will be 1,200+ rooms over there.
1/16/2013 3:17:25 PM
I saw 1,200 beds here: http://centennial.ncsu.edu/centennial-interactive-map.php

I thought in addition to the Greens something was going up beside the Alliance Center but apparently I was mistaken. Still making good progress out there.

btttrooms are still available- last person flaked out

Is there anywhere to see pictures of these units, or at least the bedroom/kitchen? I have a friend I might steer your way.
2/7/2013 11:17:28 PM
I can take some pictures and email them to ya- shoot me a pm. And there are actually 3 bedrooms "open" right now (I will be taking one of the 2 larger ones, but willing to move to the biggest one if they want the one I'm in right now).
