I just upgraded my HDD to an SSHD about 2 and a half times as big and hope that those pesky disk accesses are faster now and that my boot times become much faster; I would have gotten an SSD but those are way too expensive, even if much smaller than my old HDD.Now I only wish that my laptop had a SATA III interface but the SATA II compatibility mode is good enough (similarly for USB 3.0 and my actual USB 2.0).

I just redid mine over Christmas break. Previously my OS was on a WD Black 1TB drive and had more storage on a 2TB 5400 rpm drive. I got an SSD for my birthday in October, but never had time to sit down and deal with reinstalling everything. Now I am running the OS on my 120GB Samsung 830 SSD, the programs are installed on the 1TB black drive, and store everything on the 2TB drive. Seems to work well for what I need.

Check the timestamps; I posted it first and you just copied it because you thought it would make a funny thread: http://thewolfweb.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=565539&page=3047#15663896

I don't know how you changed the timestamp, but you're pulling some kind of funny business

I just did the same and have seen some nice improvements overall. Then again I did a fresh Win7 install so that helped as well.
