Bought it a few weeks ago. Sat down to watch it thinking I'd finish it over a few days. 3+ hours later I was done. Really incredible DVD for any State fan to watch.

I'm looking forward to both this and "When March Went Mad" coming out in March. Love this kind of stuff.

I saw it yesterday at the GoPack Store.FYI: Brace yourself for the Sindey Lowe part. They show the 13 pt half at UNC and then the Chandler Parsons shot. Bad memories abound.

I figured it was going to be about 95% 1954-1990 and 4% Gott.Do they give Herb much justice?

Just finished watching it today. The coverage of the good years pre-'90 is fantastic. The V stuff got the waterworks goin. The later stuff is glossed over, for the most part. Overall, it was great. Really makes me wish we had an environment like Reynolds back in the "Red Hell" days.

It was actually really good. I dug it and learned some new stuff. Lots of good footage and interviews.

I can only remember going to one real game at Reynolds (grew up a duke fan and had UNC alum parents so i always went to those instead). It was State-GT circa '99 or so.GT was legit they had those two 7 footers Alvin Jones and Jason Collier (RIP). State wasn't very good that year. A lot of Keith Bean type chuckers on the roster.Anyway, Kenny Inge proceeded to throw down about 6 dunks in traffic. On two 7 footers. More dunks than I've ever seen from one player in a game I think. Certainly in person. The place was ELECTRIC. I mean going fucking nuts each time he ripped it. It was great. Imagine a team like our current one in Reynolds. Playing at the ESA, i mean RBC, I mean PNC really does suck nutsac. However, recruiting really picked up after we got it and money is money.Just sucks. Reynolds was pretty awesome, even though the seating layout sucks bad.Anyone else remember or at that game? I'm certain if you were there you'd remember it. I wasn't even a State fan and it's one of the more memorable games I've ever attended just due to those monster dunks.[Edited on December 30, 2012 at 11:03 PM. Reason : a]

my gf got it for me for Christmas. we haven't sat down to watch it yet but I'm certainly looking forward to it. I vaguely remember attending a Reynolds game when I was younger - had to be between 1992-1996 because I remember Todd Fuller and Lakista McCuller were my favorites.

I was gonna buy one but $37 shipped seems like a bit much. They should offer free shipping and send that $30 DVD via First Class for next to nothing.]

I was at that game face.My stepdad wasn't good for much...but he did take me to a shit-ton of State basketball games when I was growing up. His uncle was a big judge in Raleigh back in the day and we got pretty good tickets. But if we didn't have them, we'd scalp them...so I've been in the rafters of that sauna plenty of times.I miss Reynolds big time.

After watching the documentary I had a few thoughts. 1) wtf is going on with the sound/volume? did nobody watch this thing before they released it? I had to go up and down at least 10 points on volume several times. Lots of background noise during interviews and some mic punches. 2) They have "chapters" that divide the different eras or major points but in two of them they misspelled "interrupted", again showing very poor editing. 3) It tended to jump around a lot. Much of the time I had to say "wait, where are we?". When showing scores or newspaper clips, it went by way too fast to read. Another thing that was disappointing is that they didn't really touch on how we got the name "Wolfpack" after the Red Terrors. All in all, the footage was great and the interviews were very informative and entertaining. I just wish they had edited it a little bit better. At times it looked like something you'd see on ESPN Classic but other times, it looked like a YouTube video for a student project.
