Which one should I get?

My Opinions:
Halo Series
halo 1 was good
halo 2 - favorite game of all time
halo 3 - pretty good
halo reach - kind of gay bc of that invulnerability shield you could use

COD Series
MW1 - great
MW2 - second favorite game of all time
Black Ops - pretty decent. Didn't like multiplayer as much as MW2 but liked zombie mode a
lot. A little too repetitive though
MW3 - biggest piece of shit to ever come out of this franchise

I love Halo4. Pretty awesome. I don't know anything about BLOPS2

I think Halo 4 is the most fun (IMO) out of the entire series. maybe not so much story wise, but definitely gameplay.

what i did.... go through my xbox buddies and see who was getting what.... and go with that.

campaign will only keep you busy a couple days... multiplayer lasts forever.

that and i really don't like halo multiplayer where everyone fights for 1 or 2 over powered weapons the whole time.

Halo one had stupid copy and paste levels... Gameplay was fun though. Honestly, I'd go with Halo 4 over Blops2. Honestly World at War is better than either blops.

There were a few levels in Halo 2 that I enjoyed but I thought 1 was a lot better.

I've only played a few CoD games and my consensus was that they are all the same.

At first playing halo 4 I was happy because they had updated the gameplay but the honeymoon has worn off and im seeing the same old shit and there are some items that are actually worse now it feels like.

Super always on radar in 90% of game modes that you can only avoid with super slow crouch walk that's only good for camping.

Only one way to play to be successful, sniper or br headshot.

Super massive level design that is too big for even 8v8 and that lags with that many players. Nt to mention in this version there are only about 4 maps to choose from in a given matchmaking mode.

Inconsistent feeling of weapon behavior and lag.

Super floaty physics beyond normal. In Halo 1 a warthog felt like there was some weight behind it but not here.

Graphics on par with Halo/COD: Check

so how is this worse than a game like call of duty that has no radar all the time?

also people who complain about armor lock as a reason for not like reach are dumb. it was one armor ability that was a dud most of the time. yeah you had those teams that utilized it like champs but there were those who utilized jet packs or invisibility (which i think is hands down the worst armor ability and promotes the lamest fucking camping) just as well against armor lock bitches

not to mention armor locking was legit as hell against vehicles/rockets/grenades. if you actually used it properly, then you wouldn't complain about it.

^for the radar thing, I just feel you shouldn't show up on radar just because you're moving around. If you do something or the other team earns a UAV then is another tactical element. If you want to avoid radar you have to make trade offs otherwise.

In halo is shoehorns everyone into a long range game or crouch camping and I feel like we're at the point where that style of radar isn't benefitting gameplay.

This is admittedly more of a personal preference than my other complaints but it does say something about game design and balance

Are any of the halo games the best of all time? Absolutely not. Are they some of the games that I've spent the most time and had the most fun playing? Yes.

Halo 1: Very fun
Halo 2: I concur best multiplayer, very competitive, set bar for Console FPS online multiplayer
Halo 3: Very good and competitive but host advantage/lag killed it for me
Halo Reach: Increased aim assist and bloom make it slow and uncompetitive.
Halo 4 aka Halo Reach 2: Same problems, bloom spam and nerfed BR = slow gameplay.

MW1: Very good, innovative, addicting
W@W: Took good from MW1 and made slight improvements (Favorite COD for me)
MW2: Enter marketing over-hyped gimmicks and absurd killstreaks that kill gameplay for pre-release buzz and hype (Dont get me wrong I dropped mad nukes son but 3/5/7 is better for balance.

Black Ops: Noob shit, aim assist x100, lag compensation x 100, slow campy gameplay, inaccurate spray and pray, not competitive at all. Made by scrubs for scrubs worst COD yet. Maps are clusterfucks.

MW3: Black Ops with rescrambled perks and even worse maps.

Black Ops 2: Not wasting money.

Any Pseudo competitive Console FPS = Dead.
