...do you really think people will riot?

...will the people who were pressing for Bush to be prosecuted for lying about Iraq push just as hard for Obama to be prosecuted for violating the War Powers Act, lying about Libya, having a kill list of Americans?

...are people actually going to move to another country?

1: If someone comes around and prosecutes Bush, then yeah Obama should be prosecuted right after him.

2: Confusion about Libya /= Lying about Libya. And considering that merely having a hearing about it caused Republicans to accidentally expose CIA activities I can understand why the Administration attempted to hold back on what they were exposing.

3: I thought Aachen looked lovely last time I was there, unfortunately family health issues keep my wife and I tethered to NC.

People may riot. But people riot when the Steelers win so it won't be a big deal but Fox news will make it one.

I live in new york so I don't really need to move to a different country if Romney wins.

Also lying about Libya?

If obama loses, there will be no riots.

There will be a huge flux in the amount of facebook protesting, as we all know how much of an effect that has on making a difference.

CIA operators were denied request for help during Benghazi attack, sources say

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was denied by the CIA chain of command -- who also told the CIA operators twice to "stand down" rather than help the ambassador's team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.

Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to "stand down," according to sources familiar with the exchange. Soon after, they were again told to "stand down."

Woods and at least two others ignored those orders and made their way to the consulate which at that point was on fire

IMO it depends on which "Romney" actually governs the country: If he becomes as malevolent as Dubya then yeah people will riot.

I know I'll move if Romney actually follows through with all the shit Ryan was saying. Its hard to get a read because one minuute he sounds like ryan and the next minute he sounds like obama.

It doesn't really matter because the house is stern and won't put up with any shit from romney. They will treat him like obama and package the shit that helps the economy with shit that helps that rich. Romney will then put pressure on the senate to pass it.

Hopefully, the senates #1 order of business will be to get rid of romney.

In the past month or so alone, Barack Obama's made appearances on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with David Letterman and even did a skit called "Slow Jammin' the News" with Jimmy Fallon.

Mitt Romney has been on none.

Obama is scripted to win. Romney was especially picked to lose.

Apparently Romney has been asked and repeatedly balked at the chance to appear on late night television shows, including SNL. His campaign is afraid it could only hurt his chances. Or, of course, it could be because it's all part of a script.

Honestly, the places in the country where conservatives might unleash gunfire have probably been long evacuated of any liberals, minorities, gays, etc. Any gunshots fired will most likely be at pieces of paper with crude drawings of Obama, or possibly old dogs renamed "Barack" on the fly.

This is the precise reason why anyone who's on the fence should vote for Obama. Otherwise, you're basically giving the green light to both parties that all they have to do to get their guy elected is block every piece of legislation for 4 years so the country is in as poor a shape as possible come election time.

I won't lose any sleep over an Obama loss. What really makes my brain hurt is how someone like Mitt Romney can possibly WIN. What the hell is wrong with Americans?

If Obama does lose it will be interesting to see if the Dems will go into full obstructionist mode much like McConnell and the GOP have at the expense of the American People. I am guessing they will cave more often if the past is any indication. THe real problem is money in politics no matter who wins. If that doesn't change we are essentially fucked.

Conversely, it wouldn't surprise me at all if some teabagger militia type blows up another federal building or shoots up abortion clinics if Obama wins. This feels eerily like the 90's all over again.

^^^Yeh... Actually Joe biden introduced the Patriot act two month's before the April 19, 1995 "terror" act under the name Omnibus Counterterrorism Act of 1995.

During the debate over the Patriot Act of 2001 then Senator Joe Biden compared this bill to its 2001 counterpart stating "I drafted a terrorism bill after the Oklahoma City bombing. And the bill John Ashcroft sent up was my bill."

^ seems to be the case considering OBama's making great strides in the EC vote, and moderate gains in the popular vote.

Attacking him based on Libya was a lame line of attack from the beginning... should have used the gun running thing.

That, too, was another false alarm. They got silent on that and switched to Libya after Fortune blew the lid off it (http://features.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2012/06/27/fast-and-furious-truth/), their investigation turned up no wrongdoing on Holder's part, and they started catching flack for forcing classified documents into the open.
