i would suggest subletting without their knowledge.

i had to move out of there early and found no less than 6 different people to take over my lease, but EVERY person "failed" the background check (and donated the $50.00 application fee).

good luck then. hopefully management has changed since I lived there. I would post ads on Craigslist, and the office staff would post their own ad minutes after I posted one. It was ridiculous. I have no idea why they treated me so poorly... I was a good renter... payed rent on time every month, didn't cause headaches, etc.

How long ago was that? They actually have changed management within the last 5 years and I love them and never had any problems.
