This is obviously not a demonstration of anti-American sentiment, because the Muslim world began easing its hostilities towards us when BHO was elected, and the proudest things of his three years in office has been helping to restore a sense of respect for America around the world.
9/15/2012 10:36:23 AM
^you're right. this is relevant to obama, it's all his fault!
9/15/2012 10:39:01 AM
^you obviously dont know or care to understand the background to his sarcasm. Which is justified.
9/15/2012 10:47:28 AM
oh, i thought i read his sarcasm just fine, and responded with sarcasm. Obama promised us all that if he was elected, everybody in the world would love us unconditionally. Because he's "The Anointed One", and stuff.
9/15/2012 10:50:29 AM
if you read what he said during the campaigns, and during his inauguration, you will find that is a true statement
9/15/2012 11:31:56 AM
9/15/2012 11:35:24 AM
^^i know. he said that everybody in the whole-wide world would love him and love america. even somali pirates, white supremacists, islamic fundamentalists, and extremists like yourself. it didn't happen, there are still people who don't look at him and/or america favorably, and therefore he is a liar, and these protests are all his fault. He now has the blood of the ambassador on his hands because of this movie that he allowed to be shown. For shame. (on a side note, people that riot like this over a stupid film about a silly religion are complete idiots)
9/15/2012 11:56:41 AM
so lemme get this right. bush fucked up the economy and the united states' global reputation, but because Obama hasn't fixed it all in 4 years, he's the terrible presidentwhatevs[Edited on September 15, 2012 at 1:54 PM. Reason : .]

religion of peace my ass. bunch of ignorant fucking cavemen.
9/15/2012 2:19:20 PM
I think a lot of the fundamentalist Christians are cavemen. Luckily, we have a government that allows them to express their beliefs freely without letting them carry out their beliefs against others.
9/15/2012 3:30:20 PM
You mean to tell me Muslims come out and fight over a video that crosses their line...yet fat stupid lazy Americas won't even get out of their chair knowing the entire United State's political system is corrupt and about to lead everyone off a fiscal cliff in its pursuit of imperialism and new world order?[Edited on September 15, 2012 at 4:10 PM. 9/15/2012 9:14:48 PM
I have a sneaking suspicion that you left out the link to that quote, because you don't want to admit that you found it on a right-wing blog.....Ahh...I just searched. You just quoted some worthless claptrap from the comments section of an article. Another ace post, willy!
9/15/2012 10:03:34 PM
wtf I thought in austrialia people did not protest and shit, they just rode kangaroos and call each other mate.
9/15/2012 11:45:52 PM
There's nothing wrong with protesting, they're just protesting for what seems like a dumb reason (being offended because of religion-- is there ever a good reason to protest? seems like people call all protests dumb anyway). The murder at the Libyan embassy is thought to have been from a planned terrorist attack, it doesn't count as protest turned rowdy.

haha. telling someone to "fire up their neurons to dispute" an irrational tirade from some extremists commenter on a right-wing website against all the muslims of the world, generalizing them all as one singular people. That's rich. (although i agree, the outrage against a stupid film is.... ridiculous and should be ridiculed)

Actually, saying that there isn't outrage from muslims about the wholesale slaughter of Syrians is pretty fair. Have you seen much in terms of criticism from muslim leaders? Have you seen much about it on Al-jazeera or other major middle east news outlets?Maybe I've just missed it, but outside of Morsi in Egypt I haven't heard a peep from any other muslim middle eastern leader. The most positive statements coming out in favor of the anti-Assad "rebels" seems to be coming from groups like Al-Qaeda who are pretty supportive of any instability. Maybe that explains some of why the rest of the arab world is so quiet, but honestly the lack of outrage from the Muslim community about what's happening in Syria vs. the world wide furor over a low budge movie trailer is pretty astonishing. It does seem that culturally muslims seem to accept violence between muslims a lot more readily than they'll accept any slight to their religion from outside the muslim world.[Edited on September 16, 2012 at 6:05 PM. 9/16/2012 6:14:44 PM
Yes, I know Al-jazeera has a whole page about Syria, that's not what I was asking. What I was asking is, have you seen much on Al-jazeera, the best source for this kind of news, about criticism of Assad from muslim leaders. I have not.
9/16/2012 6:30:28 PM
Yeah, Al-Jazeera sure is on top of things.First page:"Is Syria in a state of Civil War?""Is al-Assad Losing Controls?"Turkey-Syria relations: Taking a nose dive?""How can peace be brought to Syria?"Great minds are surely toiling over these issues at Al-Jazeera for sure; maybe you should be an official contributor!

you should post the dates of those headlines, as well as the descriptions. Great post, willys

^^And again, I point out that there just isn't much from the Arab world decrying the violence or condemning Assad, who is pretty clearly in the wrong.^Yeah, I mean Iran is still fully supporting Assad and most of the rest of the Arab world is non-commital and silent. Again, maybe I've been missing the calls from other muslim leaders for assad to step down and stop slaughtering people.[Edited on September 16, 2012 at 7:16 PM. Reason : asdfs]

^I.....seriously? This is your argument? They can't be trusted because they archive their stories? This is the crux of your argument?I mean, good God. Do I really need to explain why that's stupid? You can't be this stupid. Honestly, you just can't. There's no way you can sit here and be more critical of Al-Jazeera, who has been covering the events unfolding regularly than you are of some anonymous post by some schmuck on the internet about his opinion of Muslim's worldwide. I..I...can't even...fuck me.I hope you realize that the link I showed you was to ONE program that is dedicated to covering the Syrian conflict. This is in ADDITION to their regular news coverage, which can mostly be found in their Middle East section of their homepage.[Edited on September 16, 2012 at 7:30 PM. Reason : ]

I doubt extremist protestors responding to an Islamophobic amateur movie represents all 1.6 billion Muslims or Islam. There is a lot of nutjob extremists here too, but no one thinks they represent all Christians. If anyone has such simple views of the world they are either ignorant or hate filled like the nut jobs protesting the movie.Interesting article about the dumb movie: http://www.haaretz.com/news/world/report-softcore-porn-director-behind-innocence-of-muslims-film-that-sparked-anti-u-s-protests-1.465188

^^Archived on the front page.I see.No, you're right.Fuck you. That schmuck's opinion of Muslim's worldwide is true, and you can't prove otherwise.I suggest you just take a break and wait for Bullet to provide me with more Engrish to make fun of. By the time I'm finished with that ill have completely forgotten you even posted here.^They don't necessarily, but the majority of them sure as hell turn a blind eye and don't police their extremists the way we do ours. Christianity threw its little temper tantrum hundreds of years ago. Islam sure as hell isn't going to be allowed to have theirs in the 21st century.[Edited on September 16, 2012 at 7:44 PM. Recent Western extremist events such as the Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting and Norway shooting show what Islamophobia results in.There is a lot of poverty and lack of education in the Middle East which will take time to fix. Just because Arab Spring is over doesn't mean all the problems were solved. I think extremists need to be dealt with and terrorists need to be hunted.I'm just saying people need to be careful when they make broad generalizations about a group of people...

We hold Muslims to a different set of standards because of the scale of violence. You listed domestic criminal issues. Not the topic of discussion at all. These savages need to be civilized by their own government and peers. You're right, we shouldn't be over there at all.

Great, that's all we need in this world now... some rich liberal shitheads to intentionally insult a figurehead for the sake of insulting, and the figurehead's poor conservative wild followers to run amok destroying public property and killing people.Looks like the prophecy in Islam saying there will be an epic showdown (towards the end of times) between Muslims aligned with good Christians and evil people (bad Christians aligned with Jews and Atheists) is going to be realized one day. Wonder how many people will die
9/19/2012 3:06:34 AM
I think the conservative wild followers will find something to be offended by regardless.
