Well it's been almost 3 hours at this point. Hopefully just a threat and nothing serious.Though I hope that the AP did some time conversion when writing the story up--if a man called at 8:35 Central Time and said the bombs would go off at 10:05 Central Time, you'd think they might not wait until 15 minutes beforehand (9:50) to order an evacuation.

I really doubt somebody with al-Qaeda would actually warn innocent people of his intentions to harm them.Nonetheless, if it were serious, one would hope they'd evacuated immediately.

Probably a freshman that didn't have his class presentation ready in time for class.

So the call was made at 8:35 with the bombs set to go off at 10:05 and people didn't get out until 9:50? Cutting it a little close don't you think?^Made me think of the end of Road Trip

How often are phoned bomb threats legitimate? The only time I can think of is Centennial Olympic Park. I don't understand why you would call and tell someone you had placed a bomb if you really had. Seems counterproductive.

Maybe the bomber is just an attention whore.
