I am posting this for a friend. The exhaust system on his 1994 Sable is practically falling off from the manifold back. The pipe connection has nearly rusted off at the inlet to the cat. and there are holes in the muffler.
What would be the best repair method for someone on a budget? Buy a cheap, high-flow cat and muffler on ebay and take it to a muffler shop?
