Apples to oranges comparison if there ever was one. Most gay people know they're gay before ever acting on it. Most fat people get fat because they develop horrible eating habits and don't exercise. I don't agree with shaming fat people though, people who do that are just trying to get a cheap laugh and distract from their own issues.

(kinda kidding, i know it slows down for some people, and it's harder to keep the pounds off, but if they eat right and exercise, they're not going to get obese. maybe put on some weight, but not chris-christie-fat. if they do, it's their fault, not their metabolism's)

Gay is not a choice. Fat is a choice about 85% of the time. Perhaps an unconscious choice, but one nonetheless.

I know I could be thin if I was willing to put in the work. Currently I am not. (Though I am merely overweight. I cannot speak for the truly obese.)

I'm like 5'8 and weighed like 130 at the time. I was also in excellent shape working out like 4 times a week. if you saw me with a shirt off you'd see why 10% seemed high
