With Isaac heading towards Pensacola, we're flying all the jets out of here on Sunday, heading to Dallas or Fort Worth.

Not sure how long we'll be there, but I'll prob have a rental car and pretty much nothing but time on my hands for at least a day or two.

I spent a couple months there for work and honestly couldn't find much There is a JFK museum that I wanted to check out but never got to. Also I did a tour of the Cowboys stadium and that was cooler than I expected. If you like Tex-Mex go eat at Chuy's, it's ridiculously good.

Eat. The food in here is pretty ridiculous, you can find a lot better food than Chuys not that it isn't tasty but a lot better options exist, just use yelp. Deep Ellum has some good stuff, Uptown is probably where the best food is though. Pretty good bars in both areas.

Really not much else to do that is special to the Dallas area.

It appears that I'm staying at a place called the Gaylord Texan (snicker). It looks awesome. Not sure how they negotiated that to keep within the alloted per diem rates. I'm gonna guess that I'll be there for several days.

The JFK museum was really cool. I think a trip to Forth Worth is great too (to get the "cowboy" feel).
