I'm talking shirts, bags, backpacks, jackets vests, etc... with the conpany's logo. Wear it out in public?,Usually not. 1. It's usually tacky, looking like late 90's/early 00's fashion.2. I'm someone afraid of having paint thrown on me by a bleeding heart liberal.C. I don't advertise for free.4. Ya momma[Edited on July 31, 2012 at 10:37 AM. Reason : K]

Hell no
7/31/2012 10:37:33 AM
I wear the t-shirt they gave us when working out or doing crap in my yard.
7/31/2012 10:38:02 AM
i have one logo collard shirt that I wear maybe once a month.
7/31/2012 10:38:17 AM
I sometimes use the water bottles, coozies, and travel coffee mugs - never got any t-shirts, etc.

Only if it's actually something quality. Example: I got a really nice backpack that has been my main backpack for the past 4 years. The company logo is small and almost unnoticeable and the backpack was better than the others I had.
7/31/2012 10:42:27 AM
The one piece of swag I've kept was from my last company. It was a roadside assistance kit, complete with jumper cables and such. It's still in my trunk.
7/31/2012 10:42:54 AM
depends on what i get. one year, we all got khaki-colored faux-dress shirts. i still don't know what to do with mine.the backpack and laptop case get almost daily work
7/31/2012 10:43:44 AM
My company doesn't make any money, so they never have any swag.
7/31/2012 10:44:15 AM
I always do, our swag is usually pretty cool
7/31/2012 10:48:21 AM
it's really not my company that's the problem. it's the suppliers who bring their tacky swag in. how many crappy "lame dad hats" can I stack on my bookshelf before they topple over?]
7/31/2012 10:48:22 AM
Only times I wear that stuff is when I'm told to for company events or photos.
7/31/2012 10:51:15 AM
I have a couple t shirts from work, but I rarely wear them.I have a ton of really nice Jimmy V golf shirts, so I wear those when I'm on the course or for events I have to attend. We also have hoodies and jackets and stuff that I wear. I use a lot of the stuff I get from them.
7/31/2012 10:56:20 AM
We've got a lot of different style shirts, and for the most part they're worn often by people around the office. I never would have thought I'd wear a purple shirt, but it looks nice and is comfortable.
7/31/2012 10:59:35 AM
No, but I will print personal things in color ink all day long like a motherfucker.
7/31/2012 11:06:06 AM
My husband gets a lot of stuff from his company and the vendors. Most of it is stuff like office supplies, so that gets used. I have a Verizon carabiner that I use on my keys and an Intel pen that I keep in my purse.I'd say that like 1/2 of the shirts end up in the drawer and worn around the house or to the gym. A few things like a Wii baseball cap have ended up our son's and everything else is donated.
7/31/2012 11:11:27 AM
Everything I wear has been given to me by the company.Swag.
7/31/2012 11:12:45 AM
I totally wear/use all the swag I get but my company is pretty well known and liked so its a good thing.

7/31/2012 12:21:14 PM
Like 20 years ago, my company had messenger bags with their logos on it. There are still boxes of them in our storage unit. I did an internship at a local catering company and was given a company polo to wear at this huge event in Beaufort, NC. I threw it away soon after my internship was over.

I wear the t-shirts to sleep in, on a bummy Saturday or to the beach (basically when I would wear a t-shirt anyways). I don't wear the hat. I carry the cooler if I need it.
7/31/2012 1:04:52 PM
I use the stuff. Flashlights, sure! Free jackets? Heck yeah! And everyone loves travel coffee mugs.
7/31/2012 1:12:19 PM
Do you wear gear that has the Nike swoosh on it?
7/31/2012 1:42:03 PM
Oh I just remembered a good one. Umbrellas. Has anyone ever actually bought an umbrella? I've never bought an umbrella because I have always gotten them from work or things I have volunteered for etc. Between the two of us we have 4 nice umbrellas we have gotten from work and a couple crappier ones.
7/31/2012 1:44:19 PM
My company refuses to create any sort of swag.Kind of strange for a software company but that's the culture
7/31/2012 1:44:51 PM
Stop using thr word swag, you douche canoes
7/31/2012 1:44:59 PM
swag swag swagI love my coolers! And I have a few awesome golf umbrellas that I lurve.

7/31/2012 2:11:37 PM
- knit polos - daily work attire, and yes I wear in public- pocket tees - wear around house and when im running errands and such- light jacket - wear out every now and again if no other jacket is nearby
7/31/2012 2:12:53 PM
We don't have the best reputation on the town because people do a ton of stupid shit, so I prefer if random people I see around town don't know I'm a nuke. Haircut kinda gives it away, but whatever.
7/31/2012 2:26:46 PM
I'd like some TWW swag
7/31/2012 2:28:59 PM
Yes, but I'm a cofounder of the company and it's a tech startup, so it's sort of mandatory.I wear the stuff I get from other companies all the time though as well.
7/31/2012 2:43:48 PM
hell yes, we could wear company t-shirts on friday. shit was money during the summer
7/31/2012 2:45:10 PM
My company used to give away T-shirts like candy for recognition. I wore them to work when I didn't have a real dress code, but never wore them in public.I have too much stuff so I gave most of them to Goodwill and saved a couple for working on my car/doing other projects.
7/31/2012 2:50:43 PM
Anytime I'm out storm chasing, reporting, giving school talks or a part of any other community event, I have to wear it. They've given me every piece of clothing for all types of weather: several performance polos, wind breaker, 3 in 1 coat, toboggan, ball caps, gloves, umbrella.
7/31/2012 3:06:58 PM
I think the only time we're supposed to wear company tshirts is when we're volunteering on behalf of the company. And even then, it's not like they enforce it.Also, I volunteer so infrequently, it's irrelevant. j/k.... I volunteer. EMCE loves the science and math kids and homeless ppl
7/31/2012 3:16:03 PM
I have to wear a bronzed name tag if I'm at a company sponsored event. I dislike it. But I like the t-shirts, they're actually pretty neat.
7/31/2012 3:18:18 PM
14 years at Cisco, and the only time i've ever worn anything with a Cisco logo was when I had to for a trade show. Also, they gave out laptop backpacks once, and they accidentally bought ones that are actually great, so I use that.
7/31/2012 3:22:44 PM
there's a bunch of bums or saboteurs walking around with every shirt ive ever gotten form work, that they picked up at goodwill.
7/31/2012 3:26:29 PM
i've gotten a few company logo Nike Dri-Fit golf polo shirts, and i wear them when i play golf. that's about it.
7/31/2012 3:26:57 PM
I use the t-shirts I received from my time at Best Buy & Gamestop for work around the house or to work when it's time to gather up equipment for conferences.
7/31/2012 3:28:30 PM
Never. I got a t-shirt once and I took it directly to Cause for Paws on S. Saunders.
