bought a used one from Gamestop 3 months ago and as of yesterday it just doesn't turn on when I hit power.

Which model? If it just doesn't power on at all its likely a dead PSU . . . . and I might have a suitable spare. If not they're not terribly expensive.

It's the old big model. Not the backwards compatible one, but not the slim one
