want to buy a hitch cargo carrier that will fit a 2" receiver.

the ones I've seen on CL are for 1.25" and smaller.

Also a receiver adapter sleeve to convert a 2" to 1.25" or such is like $10.

it's just a sleeve. the pin is still through the receiver and the cargo carrier.

i don't see any reason not to use the 1.25" version with the reducer if you find a deal on one. you ain't gonna break it.

bought one from harbor freight. Originally $99 instore, but on the internet they had it at $69.99. Then I found a 20% coupon on their FB page, so I got it for around $55.

I just added rodholders to mine from northern tool. best $10 i spent on pvc pipe and hardware. would sell for texa$.
