Anyone taken the Certified Financial Planning course at state? Did you do it online or the night classes?

I haven't but if John Huggard teaches it, it's a good course.

I took the investments course of the cfp years ago through wake tech but didn't complete any of the other modules because I switched employers and the next one wouldn't pay for it.

The coursework isn't too hard (particularly compared to cfa) but it can add some value if you're young and trying to add credibility . Just don't think its a guaranteed path to riches, sometimes the cfp types start trying to talk to clients on a level that makes them hard to relate to.
