Anyone know a good way to get rust off of chrome?? I googled it and I found a lot of people saying to use steel wool, but then you have to "reseal" it... I don't know what that means...

Basically, I have chrome running boards on my truck, that are starting to get rust spots, and my blue magic isn't working.

#0000 steel wool and metal polish (Mothers or Blue Magic). You can find the #0000 wool at any hardware store. Make sure its 4 0's, any less will scratch the chrome.

Dont need to "reseal", just keep some wax on top of the chrome and you will be fine.

When I am restoring rusted pinball legs, I use a chemical bath first like lightning rust remover, then some nevr dull to polish it up.
