I'm 35, married, and I'm the father of a 20 month old.Your Chit Chat forum has this overwhelming negative tone that, quite frankly, scares me. The Lounge forum seems more civil but really it's just more of the same expressed in a more passive aggressive way. I might enjoy discussing music in the Entertainment forum and sports in Sports Talk, but I really joined for Old School. I'm much more at home discussing the woes that come with owning a house built in the 70s. Or maybe sharing photos of my little girl and seeking advice when she's on her third day of refusing to eat anything but applesauce. What do you say?

I would suggest making Old School an open section without requiring special access.

I realize shoot's post is ancient by now, but holy shit, people, please learn the word. The singular form is alumnus for men and alumna for women. The plural form for men or mixed groups is alumni, and the plural for a group of women is alumnae. It's not hard, especially if you went to college.

Or just use "graduate" and forget all that male/female nonsense.

Why not just call them "schools" and forget all this "university" nonsense?
