Lets discuss the second best racing movie of all time in the best place, the garage, on this forum. I really think this was the downfall of his sponsor.[Edited on May 5, 2012 at 9:38 PM. Reason : BEEP BEEP]

I like this movie in retrospect, as it showcases the cars of CART just before the series went bankrupt over a series of bad decisions (trying to race at Texas in 2001 without ample test time and for not coming up with a solution to slow the cars down), the IPO of CART to investors who seemingly drained the cash out of the series while the teams who made big profits quick fled to IndyCar to race in the Indy 500, later abandoning the series within 1-2 years, bringing along with them engine manufacturers who later competed in the IRL for about 2, maybe 3 years before Honda was all that was left.It makes me nostalgic for a great series that if it wasn't for the lacking of the Indy 500 and some poor decision making on the team's parts, it would have been a great series today.

Days of Thunder? As #1???? Then Stroker Ace? Put the crack pipe down! Grand Prix is easily the best racing movie EVER!Days of Thunder is up there, but not as #1. And Stroker Ace? I thought it was some dumb hick gimmick movie. I just like seeing some of the old NASCAR race cars from the 80s in it.
