I'm not quite sure of the formula I'm looking for and apparently I'm not using the correct terminology in my searching.

I have a set of staggered price points and I need to know their percentage of the highest price. If y is the highest price, I type in x/y and then copy down the remainder of the row, the formula runs as (x+1/y+1) and (x-1/y-1) when I really need (x/y, x+1/y) and (x/y, x-1/y)

What is the formula/function I need to enter to accomplish this?

Use the syntax $A$1 to fix a cell address.

Yeah just remembered that. Excel 10 has made me lazy and its been a hell of a day.
