2012 is so yesterday....start your brackets!

Most Facebook likes gets the White House.
3/19/2012 3:35:25 PM
Bob McDonnell is about as interesting as a wet sponge. Jeb could clear the field.Warner is the most credible executive, but it'll be difficult to get activists to go out of their way for a guy who is so managerial and centrist.People I know in NY hate Cuomo, on both sides.Warner would win a general, but can't win the primary.I have no idea.
3/19/2012 4:06:24 PM
There will be no 2016 election.
3/19/2012 4:27:07 PM
Obama will be banning elections later this year. In 2016 you will all be in jail or dead.
3/19/2012 4:41:15 PM
Well, you're half right.
3/19/2012 4:45:33 PM
3/19/2012 4:54:04 PM
Haha good one jesus
3/19/2012 5:33:31 PM
Rand Paul is on there, who in my opinion is much more electable. He also doesn't have any racist newsletters, so you guys are going to have to come up with some other shit to distract people from real issues.
3/19/2012 5:52:50 PM
Rand Paul is a lightweight. Even die-hard libertarians would agree to that. He's not ready for prime-time.
3/19/2012 5:54:55 PM
I think I count as a die-hard libertarian, and you're wrong. We're talking about 2016. Rand Paul is already a total badass in the Senate. To me, a 2016 run for Rand Paul is looking good to me.[Edited on March 19, 2012 at 5:57 PM. Reason : ]
3/19/2012 5:56:10 PM
I'm going by now, not 2016. I don't think he's "more electable" now. Maybe in 2016. Of course, in my opinion, the only reason why Ron Paul is still running now is so he can set up his son for a spot in the national spotlight, so that he can be in the voters mind in 2016 (as opposed to the warm-fuzzies he gives libertarians who think he's trying to "reshape" the Republican Party).
3/19/2012 6:03:16 PM
A character like Rand Paul has a good chance of reshaping the party. He's tricked establishment Republicans into thinking he's one of them. They don't even know he's a libertarian, they think he's a conservative.
3/19/2012 6:05:37 PM
hahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahyeah, and Obama is gonna bust out that Progressive side any day now.
3/19/2012 6:07:58 PM
you didn't actually mean that, did you?
3/19/2012 6:08:22 PM
Do you not get that parties have changed over time? Why are you stuck on this idea that political parties can't be influenced?
3/19/2012 6:16:09 PM
Dude, you're better than this. Honestly. Take a step back and realize that you're trying to slay a dragon with a box cutter.
3/19/2012 6:48:11 PM
Not sure what you're expecting here. "Okay, fine, both parties are beyond salvaging and violent revolution is the only answer."Third partieswillnotfuckingworkSo what do you suggest?[Edited on March 19, 2012 at 6:52 PM. Reason : ]
3/19/2012 6:52:40 PM
The two party establishment will respond more from outside force than from within. As long as you complain and still toe the line, they're not changing.I'm not advocating violent revolution. Just stop thinking you can transform a corrupt system from within. If more people left the two party system, then the parties would be more willing to compromise with their vanishing bases, or else they would lose power. You, of all people, a man who preaches decentralization of power, should be able to grasp this concept better than anyone else.I know you know that systemic change cannot come from within the established framework. How could it if that same system is rotten to the core?So my advice? Stop supporting candidates, and start supporting causes. Don't donate to politicians. Your money would be better spent going to the ACLU (or whatever group you prefer).Seriously, if voting could actually bring about systemic change, it would be illegal.
3/19/2012 7:02:02 PM
bracket is awesomeneeds some Van Jones though!Personally, and I'm sure some feel differently, a majority of Rand Paul's remarks in regard to coal mining are a huge turnoff. 2016 is a long way off though.[Edited on March 19, 2012 at 7:09 PM. Reason : he's basically a big coal whore just like every politician from Kentucky]
3/19/2012 7:08:01 PM
3/19/2012 7:16:45 PM
Any chance Gary Johnson will try again next time around? (I'm still hoping he does well under the Libertarian ticket this time)Also, why do people think Jindal is viable on a national stage with the whole "the exorcism I performed cured someone's cancer" thing around his neck?
3/20/2012 1:52:31 AM
That seems like it would be a huge bonus to the people supporting Santorum.
3/20/2012 6:58:09 AM
3/20/2012 9:31:13 AM
Your best bet is to stick with spreading misinformation. An accusation is as good as guilt. You know you're dishonest. You have to know that, and you just do this shtick because it's tdub or whatever.Rand Paul doesn't support repealing the Civil Rights Act. That's something that people like you say because you know that someone will hear it and take your word for it.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/05/20/rand-paul-tells-maddow-th_n_582872.htmlshades of grey here i dunnofact remains he still has the boneheaded d3stroy3r-view of race, which is "i'm not racist and black people should shut the fuck up and deal with artificial market distortions as long as it takes for society to come around (if ever)"
3/20/2012 10:29:57 AM
My bad, he just wanted to revise the CRA to be utterly pointless and ineffectual.
3/20/2012 10:33:07 AM
Remember kids it's not a "Market distortion" if the private sector does it. If I'm Daddy Zillionbucks, any insane move I make is pretty much cool because it was produced by the private sector (so long as I don't literally hold a gun to anybody's head). But a few people get together, vote, and decide that owner and employer racism (bringing your racism to bear with your ownership/money power) should no longer be an artificial, damaging, suboptimal force in the market. THIS IS SUDDENLY A MARKET DISTORTION BECAUSE IT WAS DONE POLITICIALLY/PUBLICLY, AND I AM A VERY NUANCED MAN

A bunch of people unified by a necessary, proud cause? VIOLENCE-SEEKING MOBSTERSA dude with money deciding he's never going to hire a single black? VOLUNTARYISM[Edited on March 20, 2012 at 10:37 AM. Reason : .]

It's 10:38 AM dude, how many fucking bowls have you smoked today already?Getting you dumbasses in a tizzy is the easiest thing in the world. I don't even have to say anything provocative.[Edited on March 20, 2012 at 10:39 AM. Reason : ]

a lone little political science major with nobody to give a fuck about his opinionsexcept for a couple of his friends (who are no doubt being worn thin by now) and eventually, maybe, a couple of helpless kids around the dinner tableI can assemble a list of probably 3 dozen people off the top of my head who are regular weed smokers and who are smarter than the best individual ever to make it out of your family
3/20/2012 10:41:09 AM
You mad, bro?Listen, the white knighting for minorities thing is getting pretty old. Everyone gets it. You guys are like, super ultra anti-racism. And, yes, you'll cling to the belief that no one is as anti-racist as you, and that everyone else's anti-racism is just a cover for their underlying hatred for other races. Why does every thread have to devolve into the same fucking thing, though?[Edited on March 20, 2012 at 10:44 AM. Reason : Oh, look, it's McDanger insulting someone's intelligence!]
3/20/2012 10:43:20 AM
What the fuck does any of that mean? Keep in mind you're the one with the implied intelligence-slight with the weed comment up above. Remind me why that was necessary? "White-knighting for minorities" == arguing for social equality, apparently. Really opens up a lot about your views on race. You think that if everybody were just like you, racism would disappear. Something tells me things would look like the 50's.
3/20/2012 10:49:04 AM
Clearly all this talk of women and non-whites is a distraction from REAL issues.
3/20/2012 10:52:12 AM
Nothing wrong with weed, but when you go into these abstract, double post frenzies, it's like a stream of consciousness mental dump onto TSB. It's not about intelligence, it's about your shitty posting style.[Edited on March 20, 2012 at 10:54 AM. Reason : ]

3/20/2012 10:59:42 AM
well considering youre someone who holds yourself on this higher plain of transcendental understanding and logic, its rather disappointing for the rest of us when you demonstrate an inability to hit "post reply" just once instead of twice.after all, we're the mouthbreathing knuckledraggers that should be unable to grasp such a simple concept.
3/20/2012 11:57:18 AM
Hey guys let's complain about double posts for pages and pages, taking up far more time and space than the 50-pixel gap between posts that is gained by double posting.

3/20/2012 9:01:01 PM
i believe the implication adam made for the "no 2016 elections" is that we'll all be dead, 2012 mayan prophecy and all that jazz.

Cue: "Then why do you come here and GRACE US WITH YOUR PRESENCE"I've been here as long if not longer than most of you, if not on this name, lurking on another. This is as much my place as yours, and I'll dick around on my wolfweb however the fuck I please (much like you do). HOLY FUCK HE DOUBLE POSTED
3/21/2012 10:46:20 AM
of course you did-for 7 minutes after your initial post you sat there trembling awaiting a reply.seeing none you answered yourself, which is something i consider to be indicative of mental defect.sure you can utilize the wolfweb in anyway you see fit, but its only the kiddie pool because folks like you are literally prone position kicking your hands and feet.youre plenty smart, but i pray for your sake in society that you dont act like this outside of the internet. if you do then perhaps your attitude is indicative of the long hard road ahead of you.for fucks sake, ive seen you called out for being a douche in chit chat. CHIT CHAT. youre calling us troglodytes and yet youre not even welcome amongst that drivel.people wouldnt argue with your ideas half as much here if you werent such an insufferable cunt. now we all know you have multiple accounts here and some are more personable than others. do us all a favor and retire this one.maybe you can purge the mcdanger personality into a sock puppet and converse with it angrily whenever you like, but spare us the experience.[Edited on March 21, 2012 at 11:11 AM.
