If you want to teach yourself code and make a game, go for it. People do it.This is like saying that it's notable that so many successful musicians don't have degrees in music.Some people don't do well in college, but it's retarded to say no one can get value out of it. It depends on what you want to do ultimately.

I actually just find it interesting when notable people have gone to state (somehow they usually end up dropping out though).I figured this out because I was reading about "Indie Game: The Movie." One of the games featured is Super Meat Boy. There is a screening on 3/16 at Galaxy.
