John, that looks great but I think a key feature would be an auto record loop. It seems like the camera will stop recording once the SD card is full.

If you are looking to get one for accident-recording purposes, there are a shit ton of chinese made cameras made specifically for that purpose. Most mount to the windshield with a suction cup and have one camera facing forward and one wide angle camera facing backward, recording in a loop to SD card. Some of the more advanced ones have gps which will also record your speed and an accelerometer, that automatically saves last several minutes of footage prior to impact. Some of them have IR lights to accompany the interior camera that make it possible to record driver's actions even at night.
