^wtf is that about?

I watched the first episode last night and was strangely compelled to keep watching...

It's weird but in a interesting way. It definitely had some funny parts that I didn't expect but it is definitely weird.

It's ONLY on Netflix streaming, as in, it's netflix's first attempt at original programming.

Looks like Nancy Kerrigan but the attack happened before the Lilliehammer Olympics.

I watched the whole thing. Enjoyed it. 4/5 is probably spot on. If you liked Sopranos you will enjoy this.

yeah i meant to do some tidying up around the apartment today but ended up watching the whole 8-episode 1st season...definitely a good show, i thought the finale did a good job of wrapping up some plots but leaving others hanging for another season...good show, wonder how Van Zandt liked filming and living in Norway during the shoot...^speaking of Sopranos, I know I'm not the only one who at least once thought of the episode where Chris and Paulie are after the Russian guy in the frigid, snowy woods

First of all, this is a great show, and definitely worth a sign up-and-quit Netflix membership if you dont already have an account. This show, while great, is NOTHING like The Sopranos. I suspect that is a connection that will be made all too often for obvious reasons but really they are nothing alike.

The scene where Frankie/Johnny is telling Jonas about women was pure gold.

its like the Sopranos, if before Tony got shot by Members Only, Syl ratted on somebody, fled to Europe, and they changed the show from a crime drama to a pseudo-comedy

but come on man...Steven Van Zandt played a NY/NJ mafioso in both shows, there are obviously gonna be comparisons

Watched both seasons. Was about to give up on it around Season One/Episode 3 because it was getting kinda cheesy. Stuck with it and glad I did. Plot got better and ultimately was pretty decent.

On a side note, did y'all know that SVZ is a member of Bruce Springsteen's band?
