I'm in need of several phone books. Anyone in the raleigh area (preferably apex, cary, w raleigh but I might get desperate) have any they want to get rid of? I can come by and pick them up sometime this week.Condition isn't important as long as they aren't all slimy from sitting outside for months or anything

Is there a place I can get good sized used books for that cheap? If so, then maybe. I just don't know of any place. Just the typical used book stores that charge $5+ for used booksI guess old textbooks would work too if anyone has good sized textbooks they want to get rid of

Go to the Reader's Corner on Hillsborough. They have books on the outside and it's the honor system of how you pay for them. Most are 25 cents each.

Stop by Local Edge off Aviation Parkway and ask for as many as they will give you. I know for a fact they have at least a thousand that are out of date/will never be used.

while you're out getting things to shoot at, stop by a bowling alley and ask if they'll sell you some of their old bowling pins
