I'm a very mature 2 year old
1/31/2012 12:35:48 AM
do you supply paint or is the paint included? can you match paint? paint popcorn ceiling?
1/31/2012 7:20:01 AM
you never answered my question
1/31/2012 8:23:50 AM
It's an established business. I plan on doing it a while.
1/31/2012 10:08:57 AM
1/31/2012 10:10:00 AM
You supply the paint. We have the rest. Unless it's a form of white, matching up paint hardly ever matches 100%. We'll paint a popcorn ceiling for the right price. Honestly, they are horrific to work with.
1/31/2012 10:12:11 AM
10 to 15 a room to tack on trim? does that include cutting/coping/mitering as needed? /me jsut got most of the way done with re-sheet rocking a room, inc ceiling, mudding, priming 4X coats worth, painting 3 different colors, and installing crown molding
1/31/2012 1:12:55 PM
im assuming he just meant repainting trim...
1/31/2012 1:38:46 PM
Yes, I did mean just re-painting the trim. And that's solid advice on painting the furniture. It's easy and you can make it look good yourself.
2/1/2012 9:51:04 AM
That's a good price. Ya'll need to hit this dude up.
2/2/2012 6:45:39 PM
I started doing the furniture myself and it bubbled because of the weather and I don't have time to figure it out.
2/2/2012 10:33:54 PM
Do you have some pictures of your work to share?and lol at someone thinking that trim price was for putting trim up
2/4/2012 7:34:22 PM
shameless bump
2/10/2012 12:21:18 PM
No for realz, we're interested in seeing some pictures because we might want to use you.
2/10/2012 4:50:18 PM
how much to just paint trim throughout a house? living room, dining room, kitchen
2/11/2012 2:09:26 PM
PM'd you again...
2/11/2012 6:00:00 PM
PM returned
2/13/2012 10:38:14 AM
So I guess no pictures then
2/13/2012 10:58:37 AM
I have immaculate references. Those are my pictures. Sorry.
2/13/2012 11:08:08 AM
I tried to call you twice, with no luck. Then again, I couldnt tell if the voicemail was you so I left nothing haha
2/13/2012 2:06:33 PM
Yeah, I think we'll pass on the immaculate references.
2/13/2012 4:03:00 PM
^Then fuck off. In your previous post you said "for realz"....I really don't do business with people that don't have basic grammar skills.
2/13/2012 5:11:31 PM
Haha, this thread is about to get much more entertaining
2/13/2012 5:14:12 PM
how much for trim painting?
2/13/2012 10:12:42 PM
We are planning on painting a couple of rooms when we get our tax return back. I would so pay $50/room to have you paint it but I just don't feel like doing taxes yet
2/14/2012 1:58:07 AM
2/14/2012 6:12:13 AM
this fucker couldn't even give me a straight answer about painting popcorn ceilings... only a nebulous response of "for the right price"lost my business right then and there.
2/14/2012 7:56:49 AM
2/14/2012 8:38:01 AM
Dang! Now my feelings are getting hurt! Where's my towel?Ok, for "realz".....I probably could've been a little more customer service oriented when I said the "Fuck off" statement. I'm sorry about that. My emotions got the best of me! I'm ashamed and will seek treatment for my outbursts. It kinda got started when I got a couple of nasty messages from you folks stating that my business must suck because of my untimely wolfweb response message PM/thread kinda thing.Oops. Sorry again. I love TWW but I tend to forget i use it sometimes. Stupid. I mean, you know after posting an ad here and everything. I guess I'm still a NOOB.I don't have 82,271 posts. I'll try to work on that.I did get 2 gigs out of this free pub and a possible 3rd doing a commercial building. All it took was a PM and a number. Not a thread question. And pictures as a reference are crap. 80% of the stuff we do is neutral color "let's sell the place and paint it for the masses" type of shit. So I could take picures all week long and they would all look the same. And color pics take staged lighting to really do them justice...paying $300 doesn't get you that. That's why we have references. As far as that CL complaint...I love it....He was my client named Twan (or brandon)....He tried to use a communication gap to spare himself a home improvement bill. Didn't work.Peace and Love.
2/15/2012 12:34:07 AM
So....quote for just trim work?3rd request
2/15/2012 8:30:50 PM
3rd request?Uh....How will I know how to quote that? By the foot? By the width of the trim? Is it flat or is it sculpured trim? Are the windows considered trim? If so how many? Is the trimwork baseboard/windows/ceiling molding? This is why I say pm me and give me details.I think i just explained that.
2/15/2012 9:18:13 PM
^^And he already answered in the thread. I believe he stated "generally 10-15 bucks per room" after it was asked the first time. Damn.
2/15/2012 9:28:25 PM
Thank you Beethoven86.
2/15/2012 9:45:58 PM
how much for trim work?
2/15/2012 9:56:49 PM
I will shave "trim" for minumin wage. If it's someone you date then I'll cut you a break.
2/15/2012 10:27:24 PM
first off smartasses, i asked because that price (10-15) was quoted in addition to doing wall paint, i just needed trim paint only, so I figured there was a price differential if I wasn't paying at least $50 for a room.next, it is only baseboards, but you do seem true to the complaints and are a shitty salesman as I genuinely wanted to hire you but your bullshit unprofessional responses definitely lost you a job. you can take your "business" and shove it up your ass. buy an ad and quit posting dumb threads like this in classifieds. leave it to people who actually want to do real business.
2/16/2012 9:53:33 PM
^ Ouch! That stings! I mean with the whole "shove it up my ass" and everything! So now it's just "baseboard"? That's different than "trim work". You could have easily just PM'd me and stated what the project was.If it's baseboard just do it yourself. Somebody will charge you an outrageous amount to come out and do that. It's a job that will require you to get down on your knees for an extended period of time. Sounds like you might know how to do that though! If you need a job, let me know!
2/17/2012 11:48:43 AM
Haha, I'm likely in the minority here, but I love the idea of someone not verbally fellating their customersHe's like the Dick's Last Resort of interior house painting
2/17/2012 12:10:21 PM
this is clearly just a troll thread and should be locked.
