This video however is the first album - there aint a damn video of the second album on youtubeFUCK YEAH found some http://amacioproductions.blogspot.com/2010/10/space-ghost-cowboys.htmlSun King is probably my favorite song by any band right now. Dessa - 551http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pracaNA_B4Dessa - The Crowhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RezzkpiQ70MShe's the (main) female vocalist in Doomtree which more notably has P.O.S., who is also ridiculously good. Their style is technically alternative hip hop, whatever that means, but they use a lot of spoken word and sound a little like the crosstown friends in Atmosphere.Doomtree - Little Mercyhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcpokC2EwzsAnd some quality P.O.S.P.O.S. - Goodbyehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUIWzD_VEf4P.O.S. - Purexedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0cHnBfuX08P.O.S. - P.O.S. Is Ruining My Lifehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7UFQaDoS9oIf the guitar in the last one sounds familiar, that's because it's from Underoath's "It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door." I saw him when I was a freshman in high school and was so confused why he was opening up for Underoath of all bands.

+1 for the Doomtree collective especially if you like "conscious" hip hop or [with P.O.S.] hip hop with a punk/hardcore influence
3/28/2012 8:28:20 AM
thanks dudes. got plenty to listen to at work
3/28/2012 8:31:00 AM
^^I like Doomtree, but I like their artists' solo acts more for some reason...

I think it's because they lose a bit of the personal quality when they work together. P.O.S. has rapped about his mother, his evolving racial identity, and his political beliefs. Dessa has talked about passed relationships, fictional stories, and her little brother. When they get together, it's difficult to reconcile their different foci/styles. Astronautalis ft. P.O.S.
