Verizon is currently offering 4GB for $30. If you're on the 2GB/$30 plan, I'd suggest giving Verizon a call to take advantage of this promotion. Or PM me.

^^^ I plan to use this thread for other things as well. I guess I could have added a Wireless on there. /shrugAlso, I recently lost my unlimited data. But paying $25 for 1500 minutes, unlimited text, and 2GB of data seems worth it[Edited on November 8, 2011 at 8:59 AM. Reason : .]

Also tell them to release the Galaxy Nexus NOW.
11/8/2011 8:59:16 AM
I'll stick with my unlimited data for $40/month at Sprint
11/8/2011 9:06:46 AM
thing is, i don't even know how much data i use per month. whenever i'm at home i use wifi.
11/8/2011 9:08:58 AM
i hope vzw doesn't screw me out of my unlimited vzw data plan.any chances they would; or what should I know so they don't?it still pisses me off that vzw requires a tethering plan, etc (a data plan for each vzw device on the same account). it's bullshit. the data is still data, no matter the source. if someone has 4gb/month, why does it matter what device it comes from?[Edited on November 8, 2011 at 9:11 AM. ^^ as long as you have a smartphone on your plan, you'll keep you're unlimited data. However, you put a basic phone on you're account, even for a second, you'll lose your data. I don't think you will ever do that so you shouldn't be worried. I also agree, the $20 tethering charge is bullshit. ^ I've had a lot of people come in and told they had to change their alltel plan to Verizon plan. This is bullshit, tell them to go fuck off and you're going to keep you're plan.

11/8/2011 10:57:48 PM

11/9/2011 9:39:13 AM

11/9/2011 9:43:59 AM
acutally, since the iphone isn't 4G I can get them to switch over to androids.
11/9/2011 9:44:47 AM

11/9/2011 11:15:38 AM
PM'd. We shall see.
11/9/2011 11:19:49 AM
^^ you can still change your plan as far as minutes go, that won't affect your data plan. However, do not ever change your data plan.
11/9/2011 11:24:26 AM
Get Verizon to move my upgrade date from May 2012.
11/9/2011 11:24:57 AM
^^anything lower than 450 min @ $60 yet (including the texting, etc)?
11/9/2011 11:31:14 AM
So if I have the 10 gig for $80 on my mifi hotspot, will they give me 20 gigs? BF3 is using a lot of data.)
11/9/2011 11:35:11 AM
Don't think it covers hotspots. Just 4G smartphone data plans
11/9/2011 11:36:03 AM
I just left Verizon a couple months ago for Sprint. The nickel and diming made it no longer worthwhile to do business with them. My main reasons were:- Verizon was starting to block tethering apps from working and insisting that you pay for a "mobile hotspot". The way I see it if I pay for 2GB of data transfer I should be able to use that however I please.- The only Verizon plan comparable to the sprint unlimited plan in price would have limited me to 2GB of data transfer and something like 200 texts per month. There is something to be said for not having to monitor my usage or worry about going over my plan limits whether I ever come close or not.- Verizon and Sprint offer discounts to employees of my company. With Verizon the discount was 22% and it only applied to the voice plan. It would apply to data/text plans over $50/month, but I wasn't interested in spending that much. With Sprint it is 25% applied to the total bill.- The Sprint store price matched with Sam's Club and knocked $50 off my phone.- Sprint gave me a $125 credit for porting a Verizon number to their network. The end result of both discounts was that I got a $200 Samsung Galaxy S2 for $25 (although I was taxed on $150 because the porting credit came later). It sucks because I do believe Verizon has the better data network. With Sprint voice roaming on Verizon towers my voice coverage has been excellent. I would have paid a little more for the Verizon plan, but their pricing seems downright trite to me right now.[Edited on November 9, 2011 at 11:45 AM. Reason : l]

we got in the Razr today and its pretty awesome. I just don't like that you can't remove the battery. We also got in the HTC Resound, which was similar to most HTC phones. I look forward to playing with the Galaxy Nexus. Also, our 4G speeds are da bomb.
11/9/2011 12:29:09 PM
Razrs suck. The designer of the phone is awesome, however the computer engineer that designed the components inside the phone doesn't really know what he's doing.
11/9/2011 12:31:14 PM
@Skack: Sprint has started blocking the tethering apps as well, and i refuse to pay extra for that wtf sprint??!!?!
